Pezesha Named as the Only African Fintech Selected for the 2026 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneers

This June 2026, the World Economic Forum (WEF) announced its 2026 Technology Pioneers cohort, recognizing 100 companies from 23 countries that are shaping the future through breakthrough innovation.

We are proud to share that Pezesha has been selected as part of this prestigious global community and is the only Fintech company from Africa represented in this year's cohort.

Pezesha joins a distinguished group of technology pioneers recognized for their transformative potential, following in the footsteps of alumni such as Google, PayPal, Circle, and Dropbox. Over the next two years, the company will engage with leaders from business, government, civil society, and academia through the Forum's global events, including Davos, and other initiatives that shape the future of technology and society.

The 2026 Technology Pioneers represent companies operating at the forefront of AI, energy, space technology, advanced robotics, and other frontier innovations. From nuclear fusion and lunar resource extraction to AI-powered healthcare and financial infrastructure, this year's cohort reflects the next generation of innovators tackling some of the world's most pressing challenges.
